Luojiang seasoned soy-skin rolls

Luojiang douji is made from thin sheets lifted from the surface of heated soy milk. The softened sheets are layered with soy sauce, sesame oil, ground sesame and spices, then wrapped tightly, steamed and cooled. The layers form a compact soy-based food with sesame aroma; the name’s “chicken” refers to the dish rather than a poultry ingredient.
