Story & history
Leshan’s savory take on soft curds
Doufunao can be sweet or savory across China. In Leshan, the soft soy curds become a hearty savory bowl with thickened stock, starch noodles and contrasting garnishes. Meat toppings, preserved vegetables and peanuts can share the bowl. Its tofu base does not make the finished dish vegetarian.
