How to recognize it

The whole fish has a pink-red body and pale belly; the flesh is pale. This is a specific seabream, not a general name for all red fish.

In the kitchen

Cooked fish and fish broth are used in noodle gravy; it can also be steamed.

Sold whole or as portions. Fish bones may remain after preparation. Contains fish; other fish used in a recipe are substitutions, not the same species.
